I’m Kurt L. from Indiana. I’m athletic and enjoy cycling long distances and exercising with my wife and 3 kids.
When
I was diagnosed with RRMS in 1997, at the age of 26, and began treatment with COPAXONE
® in 1998.
What happened
As soon as I was diagnosed, I took a proactive approach, immersed myself in research on MS, and became involved with my local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. At my doctor’s recommendation, after my first therapy was affecting my liver, I decided to begin treatment with COPAXONE
®.
What's up
I work full time and remain very active. In fact, I’ve completed a mini-marathon together with my family—and hope to do another.
Words of wisdom
I encourage people who are diagnosed with MS to find a therapy that works, get on it, and stay on it long term.
